This Townhouse has only recently become available as a rental, and has full appliances, beds, and furnishings. The entertainment system includes two cable televisions and a DVD/CD/MP3 stereo. There are cordless telephones, answering machine, and unlimited free local calls. Each bedroom has its own clock radio and telephone.
The contemporary furnishings are very comfortable, relaxing, and functional. There are tile floors throughout the living areas, and carpeted bedrooms. The open split floorplan features a separate dining area with a full size dining table and chairs, as well as more casual dining or entertaining on the kitchen counter/bar or at the table out on the private screened Lanai.
The Master bedroom suite features a King Size bed, television, sliding glass door onto the lanai, private bath with two sinks, whirlpool tub, and shower. The two guest bedrooms both have two twin beds. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Your bed and bath linens are provided as well.
The full kitchen is well appointed with conveniences including a refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, cookware, utensils, flatware, dishes, glassware, and an in-unit clothes washer & dryer.
Enjoy the tranquility of your own private covered and screened Lanai (patio) that overlooks the lake and view of the 16th green on the Pete Dye designed links-style golf course.
The townhouse has climate controlled forced air conditioning, but you may prefer to open the windows and doors to enjoy the fresh air and use the ceiling fans that are in every room.
This Townhouse includes your own private driveway and one car garage with electric opener.
Activities:
Golf: This is the PGA - need we say more? There are three award winning courses right here at PGA Village, and a fourth at the PGA Clubhouse. There are several other golf courses within driving distance (pun intended). Fishing: Depending on your preferences and the season you can fish for Bass, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, Permit, Redfish, Sea Trout, Snook, Tarpon, etc. Many fresh and saltwater fishing options are available. You can go back country flats “Skinny Water” and fly fishing, or offshore trolling or deep-water fishing in the Gulf Stream. Boats, captains, and guides of all sizes and descriptions are available for hire nearby. Most fishing charters will provide all gear and tackle needed. If you want to purchase gear it is readily available.
Swimming: There is a large, beautiful fresh water pool and spa located in the common area of the property. Very healthy saltwater swimming is also available in the seasonally warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Sun Bathing: There is plenty of deck area for relaxing and sun bathing on the deck around the pool.
Baseball: Traditions Stadium, Spring Training home of the New York Mets, is just minutes [2 miles] away. It is also home to the Port St. Lucie Mets.
Tours: There are a wide range of both organized and self-guided tours throughout South Florida.
Movies: There is a multi-screen theater complex just minutes away from the PGA Village.
Dining: There is one restaurant [Manor on the Green] and bar at PGA Village, and another at the clubhouse. Several restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Nearby restaurant chains include Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's, Bob Evans, and Friendly's. There are also several that provide delivery if you prefer to order in. There are also nearby fast food drive-thru restaurants, including: Mc Donald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King.
Shopping: There is no shortage of shopping, ranging from K-Mart and Walmart to an outlet mall 20 minutes north in Vero Beach. The very large Gardens shopping mall is within a 30 minute drive south.
Day Trips: Can you say "Miami"? How about "South Beach"? If you want to experience an entirely different world from the PGA, and indeed a world of its own, Miami! You are less than two hours away from the historic Art Deco District. South Beach is once again the place to see and be seen. Enjoy a meal while watching the world stroll past you at one of the many sidewalk restaurants and cafes. Nighttime in South Beach is all about nightclubs. Be (or see) one of the beautiful people!
Gambling: Are casinos of interest to you? There is a casino daily cruise ship that operates out of Ft. Lauderdale, or a Native American gaming casino is located in the Miami area. There is also Jai-Alai and horse and dog race tracks throughout south Florida.
Cruises: Several Cruise ships call Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or Port Canaveral their home port. Renters here often begin or end their holiday in Port St. Lucie with a cruise. It can be part of a great vacation package.
Airports: The closest commercial airport is in Palm Beach [PBI], 57 miles south. Orlando Airport [MCO] north, about 100 miles.
Driving Directions: From North - Take I-95 South. Take Exit 121 (Old 63c) and go west [right] on Reserve Blvd. Enter roundabout (clock tower) and take the first right turn onto Commerce Center Parkway, and the entrance to Castle Pines will be the first entrance on the left. From South - Take I-95 North, take exit 121 (Old 63c) go west [left] on Reserve Blvd. Enter roundabout (clock tower) and take the first right turn onto Commerce Center Parkway, and the entrance to Castle Pines will be the first entrance on the left.
